Distribution: Found in many parts of the U.K. Increasing in numbers, especially in England

Habitat: Woodland, especially around sycamore trees. Frequently found in kitchens and bathrooms
Food: Mildew
Special features: Orange Ladybirds can be bright yellow or orange in colour. They have a translucent lip around the edges of their wing casings and pronotum (bit between the head and wing casings). They normally have 16 creamy-white coloured spots, but there can be as few as 14 spots. They have an orange head and legs. The eyes are black.
