Oscar the Barn Owl

The photo above shows Oscar, our 6 year old male barn owl. He loves to be with people, and one local group have adopted him as their mascot.

Oscar is doing a great job in the education field, teaching many youngsters the importance of caring for the countryside and all its species. He has actually helped to get a bypass re-routed to a much less environmentally damaging area, and has stopped a factory development being built saving an area inhabited by his relations. He's quite an owl!
